Legal Survey Plans - Terms of Use

ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS OF USE
The City of Coquitlam (the "CITY") provides legal survey plans and the information on them (collectively, the "Plans") to you ("You") subject to your acceptance of the following terms and conditions of use (these "Terms of Use"). The City reserves the right to revise the Terms of Use at any time without notice.

USE AND RESTRICTIONS
You may access and use the Plans only in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and with these Terms of Use.

Subject to these Terms of Use, the City grants You permission to access and use the Plans solely for research purposes or your own personal and non-commercial use. You agree that the Plans may only be viewed, printed, copied or saved onto your own computer for research purposes or your personal and non-commercial use. You must not, directly or indirectly, print, copy, reproduce, save onto your own computer, modify, translate, merge with other data, frame in another website, post on another website, or otherwise use the Plans for any public, commercial or non-personal purpose.

The Plans are made available to You for informational purposes only and are not intended to be a substitute for professional advice, assessment and evaluation. The Plans should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making a real estate purchase or selling decision.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The Plans are protected by intellectual property rights owned by the City and/or third parties. You agree to abide by all intellectual property notices, information and restrictions on, or displayed with, the Plans. The display of the Plans does not convey or create any licence or other rights in any of the Plans or any intellectual property owned by the City or a third party.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
You expressly agree to release, indemnify and save harmless the City and any of its officers, employees, agents, contractors or volunteers in connection with your access or use of the Plans.

TERMINATION
You acknowledge and agree that the City may, at any time without notice, in its sole and absolute discretion and without cause, suspend or terminate your use of, or access to the website including the Plans.

CHOICE OF LAW
You agree that all matters relating to the use of the website, including any of the Plans, shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without reference to conflict of law principles. The City and You each agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between the City and You with respect to your access to or use of the Plans.
